Richard "Barry" Weeks, 80, of Linn Valley, KS passed peacefully in his home with family by his side on August 6, 2021. Barry was a lifelong resident of Kansas City and the son of Richard (Dick) Keith Weeks and Mary Virginia Weeks. He graduated from Wentworth Military Academy and met his future wife Nancy Lee Coleman while on vacation in Noel, MO. One of their favorite memories was pulling off the road and dancing to some of their favorite tunes. Following the steps of his father, he began his career as a carpenter with Weeks Construction Company. Many of those projects are his legacy and mark he leaves from his life’s work for the city he loved.
