William K. “Kenny” Morris, 63, Olathe, KS, went to be with the Lord November 19, 2015, shortly after being diagnosed with a form of non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Visitation will be 1:30 -2pm, Sunday, November 22 followed by funeral services at 2 pm at Grace Christian Fellowship Church, 7230 Quivira Road, Shawnee, KS. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Mound City, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
Kenny is survived by: wife, Kathie; brothers, Mickey and Cecil Morris; children: Hope, Heather, Kena, Tim, and Valerie; and grandchildren: Michael, Seeley, Karissa, and Jorey.
Kenny was raised in Mound City, KS, and graduated from Pittsburg State University with a B.A. in marketing. He and Kathie married November 25, 1978 in Mound City, KS. His hobbies included fishing, watching sports of all kinds, coaching softball and baseball, and grilling. He was an active member at Grace Christian Fellowship Church for nearly 30 years.
