William “Bill” Lancaster, 77, Overland Park, passed away Friday April 9, 2021 at home. Bill was born in Kansas City, Missouri and was a lifelong resident. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Bill’s Appliance Service for 28 years before he retired. He was an Ombudsman for 10 years for the State of Kansas. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ann and CT Lancaster and an aunt, Thelma Lancaster. He is survived by a son, Bryan Lancaster (Robyn); sister, Linda Weaver (Mike); and three grandchildren: Tanner Keeton, Trey Keeton and Kayla Lancaster. Visitation will be 12:00-1:00pm Friday, April 16th, at the Overland Park Funeral Chapel followed by a funeral service at 2pm. Private family graveside service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
