VIRGINIA C. STEWART, 91, Prairie Village, KS passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel , 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66204. The family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. before the service hour. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lawrence, KS.
Survivors include her children, Pam (Bill) Wetterman, Jay (April) Stewart, Steve Stewart; a two brothers, Hewitt and Everet (Betsy) Covington, a sister, Ann Byers; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Jeffery, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Cindy, William, Andy, Cassie and Megan; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Stewart; a daughter, Carol; and her brother, William Covington.
