Sylvia Shirley Robison

Sylvia Lucille "Shirley" Robison, 92, of Overland Park, KS, passed away and joined her beloved Shorty, on Friday, May 25, 2012.
Known as Shirley to family and friends, she was born on December 16, 1919 in Keokuk County, Iowa. Her family moved to Des Moines, IA when she was a child. She was married to Forrest S. "Shorty' Robison on August 6th, 1939. They were married for 71+ years. They lived in Overland Park for over 45 years and were active in the Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church.
Shirley is survived by her siblings, Katherine Agold of Texas, Speck (Kate) Simmons, and Donald (Ruth) Simmons, of Iowa, numerous nieces, nephews, and loving family. Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Shorty, who passed away in November of 2010.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 1st, 12-1:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church, 9300 Nall, Overland Park, KS.
