Ibrahim Siryani, 73, of Overland Park, KS went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2013.
Ibrahim was born on September 15, 1939 in Bethlehem, Palestine and lived in Kuwait for 25 years before moving to the U.S. in the mid-1980's. He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He was a manager, business owner, he loved to fish, and cook. Ibrahim owned and operated Sausalito's Sandwich Shop, 1989-2000.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Elizabeth, four children, Sylvia Karalis, Nahlah, Halah (John) DeGraffenreid, and Hani (Rima) Assiryani, eight grandchildren, Philip, Christina, and Sarah DeGraffenreid, Costa, Katarina, and Christina Karalis, and Christopher and Joseph Assiryani, three brothers, and five sisters. Ibrahim was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 6th, 6-8 PM, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 7th, 10:00 AM, at Overland Park Lutheran Church, 7810 W. 79th Street, Overland Park, KS 66204. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
