Sherrill Diane Neidenberger

July 31, 1963 — June 29, 2023

Marysville, Washington

Sherrill “Cheri” Neidenberger relocated to heaven on June 29, 2023. Cheri had a love for life. She used her hands to create beautiful works of art, making anything she touched beautiful, and would often gift her creations to loved ones. She was an avid quilter, skilled embroiderer, creative stain glass maker, master weaver and accomplished wood worker. She had a passion for Ancestry and used that passion to locate lost loved ones of family members, truly changing people’s lives. She craved knowledge and would pick up a book to learn anything she was passionate about. In earlier years she had a strong interest in the medical field and later found a passion for cyber security.

In 2018, Cheri graduated from Everett Community College with an Associate in Advanced Manufacturing Technical Design, CAD Drafting and Design Technology. In 2021, she graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree of Applied Science in Cybersecurity, Summa Cum Laude, Information Technology and Administrative Management. She was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, made the Dean’s list multiple times, and received several other honor awards.

Cheri was an incredible listener who welcomed people into her life and home with open arms and without judgement – earning her the title of “Mom” to those close to her family. Above all of these incredible skills, Cheri loved her Lord and Savior. She followed God’s lead and her faith was the foundation of her life.

Cheri leaves behind her mother, who she loved dearly, her baby brother, who she always looked out for and protected. Her loving husband who was her soulmate and the true love of her life (often recalling the butterflies he gave her after 36 years of marriage). Her 3 daughters who were the light of her life and best friends, and 6 grandchildren who each held a special place in her heart.

Cheri felt it was never too late to be forgiven for your sins and let Jesus love and care for you. There will be no funeral but a private family celebration of her life. We ask that, in lieu of flowers or donations, you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, family member, or friend and learn a new skill you have been putting off learning.
