Ruth Anderson

Ruth A. Anderson, 97, of Overland Park, KS passed away peacefully October 10, 2015. Her graveside service will be held 1pm, Thursday, October 22nd at Resurrection Cemetery - Queen of Peace Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Ruth was born September 3, 1918 in Dunlap, IA to Harry and Katherine (Hart) Holeton. She was a retired registered nurse with over 40 years of experience in the medical field. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern, in November of 2004. She leaves behind to cherish her memory seven children: Pamela Knight (Jim) of Montrose, CO, David B. Anderson (Mary Jane) of Wichita, KS, R. Alan Anderson (Sue) of El Paso, TX, Rebecca Wiseman (Lonnie) of Yakima, WA, Kerry Riffel (Larry) of Overland Park, KS, Steven Anderson of Newport News, VA, Tim Anderson (Deb) of Gilbert, AZ; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
