Roger W. Aberer, 68, of Roeland Park, passed away on November 15, 2012.
Roger was born on April 5, 1944 in Kansas City, MO to Leo and Anna Aberer. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Joan Mehl, and his two infant brothers. Roger is survived by a sister, Doris (Phil) Sante of St. Charles, MO, several nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews.
Roger retired from Labconco in 2009 after 36 years of service. His co-workers were a second family to him.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 19th, 6-8 PM, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 20th,10:00 AM, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5250 Mission Road Roeland Park, KS. The family suggests contributions to Catholic Charities Hospice, 9740 West 87th Street Overland Park, KS 66212.
