Bertie passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 4, 1931 in West Des Moines, Iowa. Bertie spent most of her adult life in Omaha, Nebraska where she was an enthusiastic Husker fan, an active member of PEO, friend and surrogate mother and grandmother to so many. Her greatest joy was her three sons and their children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Lela McCullough, brother Clarence (Cully) McCullough, sister Dorothy Miller, and husband Harold Baker. She is survived by her sons Donald B. Clark (Gail), Robert Clark (Sharon), Brian Clark, and grandchildren Elisabeth Clark, Emilie Petrozzi (Jon),
JR Clark, Natalie Clark, and Griffin Clark.
A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 7020 Cass Street, Omaha, NE, 68132, Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
