Robert H. Garside, 69, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Catholic Charities, 2220 Central Ave, Kansas City, KS 66102.
Robert is survived by his wife of 11 years, Sandra Garside; three children: Cliff Garside and spouse Mary Beth, Suzanne Garside, and Cameron Garside; Step-Children: Christine Symes, and Lisa Lee; grandchildren: Boden and Brielle Garside; step-grandchildren: Abigail and Alexandra Symes; Ashley Howe, Jessica Furrh, and Patric Lee.
He spent the last several years of his life working with Catholic Charities and truly loved his work with them. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed greatly.
