Nora Mae Davis, 96, Shawnee, KS, passed away November 21, 2014. Visitation will be 1-2 pm, followed by Service at 2pm on Monday, November 24 at Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS. Burial will be at a later date in Listie, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Nora married Harold J. Davis, Sr. in 1936. She was a garment worker in Boswell, PA. In 1984, she moved to the Kansas City area to be near her family. She was preceded in death by: her husband; and a son, Curtis J. Davis. She is survived by: son, Walter W. (Judy) Davis of Garnett, KS; son, Harold J. (Sue) Davis, Jr. of Shawnee, KS; daughter, Sandra L. (Don) Singo of Shawnee, KS; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Nettie Fike and Janet Herrell.
