Mrs. Mary McClain

Mary Lou McClain, age 83, of Overland Park, KS passed away on December 29, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2013 beginning at 12:30 pm at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66204 with a visitation beginning at 11 am. Interment will follow in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, 23215 W 75th St, Shawnee, KS 66227. Memorial contributions can be made to Emerson Park Christian Church.
Mrs. McClain was born in 1930 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was married for 63 years and worked at North Supply for 10 years. She was also a member of Emerson Park Christian church and The Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 siblings and granddaughter Kindra Leigh McClain. Survivors include husband CW "Charlie" McClain, children; Cathy Stanley (Jim), CW "Buzz" McClain (Sharon), Russell McClain (Dianna), Carol McClain McAlister (Doug), and Cristy Shultz (Jay). As well as 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
