Mary Jane Wilson was born Mary Jane Moore on May 28, 1919. She died peacefully on Sept. 3, 2012 after a long, healthy, happy life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William J. Wilson and her daughter, Nancy Ann Wilson O'Donnell (Richard). She is survived by her daughters: Sally Jane Wilson Sweeney (Michael), Susan Betsy Wilson Schneider (Robert), Kitty Wilson Thomas (Mark), and Amy Lee Wilson McDonnell (Daniel), and her sons: John H. Wilson (Susan), James O. Wilson (Amy), and William A. Wilson (Valerie); 24 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren to date; and 6 more babies on the way.
Mary Jane loved flowers and was an avid gardener, she loved to play bridge, she loved going to church, and she loved spending time at the family lake cottage in northern Minnesota. But most of all she enjoyed being the center of a large, and loving family of whom she was very proud. She will be profoundly missed.
A memorial service will be held at Village Presbyterian Church on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at 2 p.m., reception to follow at the church.
