Mary Jane Bornkessel (Schuepbach), 94, died in her sleep Friday, Nov. 2, 2012. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5601 W. 62nd, Mission, KS with a funeral service following at 11 a.m.; burial in Corinth Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the National Parkinson's Foundation (www.parkinson.org) or Trinity Lutheran Church.
Jane was born in Kansas City, KS on October 27, 1918. She attended Northeast High School and received her Associates Degree. Jane married Richard Heinz (Henry) Bornkessel on August 8, 1942. She worked at Swift & Co for 10 years as a secretary and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Slide Club. She was preceded in her in death by her husband and one grandchild. Survivors include her children: Barbara Jo (Dick) Campbell of Lake Isabella, CA and her children, Bob and David; Janice Kay (Bob) Blazich of Thiensville, WI and her children, Bill and Mike; Richard Keith (Judy) Bornkessel of North Liberty, IA and his children, Amy and Jill; and Robert Michael (Cheryl) Bornkessel of Overland Park, KS and his children, Brooke and Blake; 11 great grandchildren.
