Marian L. Houghton, 92, passed away October 19, 2010 at her home in Overland Park, KS. She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years Norman, her son Lawrence, and granddaughter Leslie. She is survived by two sons Philip and Michael, daughter-in-law Billie, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Marian was the proprietor of Cambridge House, a decorative arts studio in Johnson County for 20 years. She was a Master Painter of the National Tole Painter’s Society, a member of PEO and Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church. She was an exceptional lady and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church at 10:00am November 4, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALS, Keith Worthington Chapter, 6950 Squibb Road, Suite 210, Mission, KS 66202.
