Mrs. Margaret (Rios) Aguilar

Margaret Helen (Rios) Aguilar, age 70, Kansas City, KS passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W Aguilar, and her son, Richard Aguilar. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Margaret Aguilar (KCK), Lisa Orozco (Merriam, KS), Emily (Rudy) Cisneros (KCK), Yolanda Aguilar (Gladstone, MO), Nicole (Larry) Chavez (Overland Park, KS), son-in-law Thomas Krisko (Staten Island, NY), 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister Gloria (Eduardo) Ibarra & brother Ronald (Vicki) Carson. Margie was a tireless supporter of education and the community and was involved in numerous civic & religious organizations. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 14, 10am at St. John the Evangelist Church (2910 Strong Ave. KCK). Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 13, 5-9pm at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel (8201 Metcalf Ave). Rosary 8pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation.
