Margaret “Peggy” Lippert, 92, Merriam, KS, passed away October 13, 2014. Memorial Service to celebrate Peggy’s life will be Saturday, October 25 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7851 W. 119th Street, Overland Park, KS, 66213. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
Peggy was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Shawnee Mission Rural High School. She volunteered at her church, and was a volunteer at Shawnee Mission Medical Center for more than 30 years. Peggy lived a life of faith, and leaves an exemplary legacy to her family whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrit Lippert in 1996. She is survived by: a son, James B. (Kathy) Lippert of Big Timber, MT; a daughter, Barbara (Gary) Groening of Prairie Village, KS; a daughter, Christina (Mark) Faltermeier of Overland Park, KS; five grandchildren, Laura (Peter) Simone, James Groening, Payson Lippert, Nathan and Eric Faltermeier; and a great granddaughter, Claire Simone.
