Lois Cannon

Lois Reed Cannon, 89, of Aberdeen Village, Olathe, Kansas passed away on Friday, March 30th, 2007. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 24 years Leslie Reed, father of her 2 children, Steve Reed and Deanna Reed Ayres Hammer. More recently she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, John Cannon, father of her 3 stepsons, Jack, Jim and Joe Cannon.
Lois was well loved by her family, that also included 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Lois was one of 4 children born to Reverend and Mrs. Earnest D. Baker in Fairgrove, Missouri. She lived in several states during her early years of married life and returned to the Kansas City area where she enjoyed many years as a homemaker. In addition, she pursued hobbies of gardening, golfing, bridge and extensive travel. Lois and John were long term members of the Village Presbyterian Church and Indian Hills Country Club. A memorial service will be held at Aberdeen Village, 17500 W. 119th Street, Olathe, Kansas 66061, on Friday April 14th, 2007 at 2:00 P.M.
