Leonard Baer

Leonard H. Baer, age 87, born on February 27th, 1928 in Peoria, Illinois, passed away on December 6, 2015. The memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 12 at the Overland Park Funeral Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church. Len served in the U.S. Army right after high school. Then continued onto college at Bradley and also got married to his wife of 65 years, Sylvia Baer, in 1949. He is survived by three sons and one daughter, Richard Baer, Randall Baer, Ronald Baer and Kathleen Karl; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
