Lenna Mae Brown, 93, Overland Park, KS, passed away May 20, 2015 surrounded by her family in her home. Graveside services will be 1 pm, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Oaklawn Cemetery, 139th and Blackbob Road, Olathe, KS. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice.
Lenna Mae was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Besides her faith, family and friends, her passion was dancing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse V. Brown in 1982; and a son, Gary C. Brown. She is survived by: daughter, Karen Matteson; son, Jay (Karen) Brown; daughter, Lynda (Johnnie) Porter; son, Steve Brown; son Tim (Karen) Brown; daughter-in-law, Sharon Brown; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; two sisters: Ethel Stewart and Mildred Hayes; sister-in-laws, Rita Dodds and Eileen Dodds; and many nieces and nephews.
