Larry Lee Campbell, 80, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at Grace of Leawood Assisted Living. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at Legacy Christian Church, 10150 Antioch Road, Overland Park, KS, 66212. Burial will be held at Memorial Park in Lawrence, KS. In Larry’s memory, contributions may be made to Legacy Christian Church.
Larry was born December 7, 1935 in Beloit, KS. He was a retired Elementary Principal, having served 33 years in Vinland, Riverside, Marsha Bagby, Nall Hills, Ridgeview, Brookwood and Corinth schools of the Shawnee Mission and Lawrence School Districts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Andrew and Ruth Elora Campbell. Survivors include: a daughter, Shara Epps; son, Barry Campbell; a brother, Ed Campbell; 6 grandchildren: Greg Campbell, Bryce Campbell, Chase Campbell, Angie Bates, Abigail Kluttz, and Zachary Epps; and four great granddaughters: Sophia Bates, Stella Bates, Samara Bates, and Charlotte Kluttz.
