Keith Paterson

Keith James Paterson, died Monday, April 28, 2014 at the age of 91. Keith was born January 22, 1923 in Albert Lee, MN to Charles and Mabel (Nelson) Paterson. Keith is survived by his wife Odean (Hockersmith) Paterson of 61 years; his children James Grissom, Donna Hudson, husband Benny and Yvonne (Paterson) Dow, husband Steve; one sister, Barbara Skroupan. Eight Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild. Keith volunteered many years in Prison Ministry, the City Union Mission and in his home church. Keith was a WWII Veteran serving with General Patton's Third Army. There will be a Visitation Monday, May 5, from 6 to 8 pm and a Funeral Service at 10 am Tuesday, May 6, both at the Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66204. Burial will take place at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local City Union Mission or The Salvation Army.
