Kathleen Marie (Doyle) Allcock of Overland Park, Kansas passed away June 28, 2017. Born August 7, 1947 to William and Adeline Doyle, Kathy grew up, along with her bother, in Kansas City.
Whether you knew her as Kathleen, Kathy, Granny Kate, or flower; you knew the moment you met her what an incredible personality she was. Tenacious and passionate, her connections were deep and her commitments lifelong. Our Lionhearted Leo.
Kathy spent the last thirty-six years working side by side with her loving husband as a hairdresser and voice of reason for so many. She selflessly dedicated her all to her family whom she cherished.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Steve, daughter Brooke (Jason) Schnurr; brother Art (Sandy) Doyle; grandchildren Jensen, Mason, and Jorja Schnurr; niece Ashley (Brent) Miller; nephew Chris Doyle; Grands Audrey, Emma, Charlotte, and Penelope; countless friends, especially Bob and Sandy, Christine and Pat, who’ve enjoyed this journey with her.
God blessed us with you and you with one last drive…top down, radio up, sun out.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Diabetes Association.
A celebration of Kathy's life will be held Sunday July 16th, 12-4pm at the Red Room 7324 W. 80th Street, OP KS (next to the Other Place)
