John Paul Schwark, 73, of Roeland Park, KS, died in his home on June 23, 2014.
John Paul Schwark was born November 30, 1940, in Kansas City, MO. John Schwark worked for over 35 years at Santa Fe Railroad. He was also an integral part of the family-owned business, Sunshine Embroidery, from it‘s inception in 1988 and thereafter as he worked side-by-side with his wife after he retired from the railroad.
Survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Karen Schwark; son, Jon Schwark, daughter-in-law, Mizuho, and granddaughter, Yurika; daughter, Kelly Burnham, son-in-law, Jim, and grandsons, Alex and Joseph; and daughter, Tinne Fearn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Betty Schwark, his sisters, Linda and Christine and his son, Brian Schwark.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5 pm on July 11th at St. Andrew Christian Church (13890 W. 127th Olathe - the main road is under construction, please follow detour signs). The family will be available at 4 pm to receive guests. Memorials may be made to St. Andrew Christian Church.
