John Andersen

John W. Andersen, 88, of Fairway, KS passed away July 14th, 2015 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. His graveside service will be 10am, Friday, July 17th at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS. John was born October 22, 1926 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was married to Violet (Pankewich) for 66 years. John and Violet enjoyed traveling extensively from Florida to California to Wisconsin. After working at Ford Motor Co for over 30 years, he enjoyed playing golf with his friends. He was preceded in death by both parents, John and Anna Andersen. He is survived by his wife, Violet, of Fairway, KS; 2 sisters, Mary Alice Harrelson of Edwardsville, KS and Anna Mae Wilson of Kansas City, KS and several nieces and nephews.
