JC Pulliam

JC “Jabbo” Pulliam was born June 3, 1946, in Lambert, Mississippi to the union of Alexander and Dave Annie (McGhee) Pulliam.  JC grew up in Mississippi before pursuing a career in vocational training through the Job Core learning trade printing.

JC lived in Boston, Massachusetts and worked there for a brief period of time before relocating back to the South.  He settled and planted roots in Memphis, Tennessee where he began his career and married Melva Dine Pulliam.

JC eventually relocated to Kansas City where he resided until the time of his passing. 

JC loved to be fashionable and loved to dress. He also loved going to the casino.

JC is proceeded in death by his wife, Melva Dean Pulliam, parents Alexander and Dave Annie Pulliam, brothers, JB McGhee, Henry Pulliam, Sr., Sisters Roberta Goodwin, Bessie Mae Tyler, Daughter Kendra Patrice Paul.

JC leaves to cherish his memory,  his sons:  Julius (Gwendolyn) Pulliam and Zachary Perez Pulliam; his sister, Annie Mae Chandler;  a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close cousins.
