Mr. James Marr

JAMES FREDERICK MARR, 84, Lenexa, Kansas died August 31, 2013 in Lenexa, Kansas. Mr. Marr was born and raised in SE Kansas and lived in NE Johnson County since 1969. He retired from Hallmark Cards in 1985 after working there for twenty-eight years. He was a graduate of Washburn University in Topeka and the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth. Mr. Marr served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Southridge Presbyterian Church where he served as both Elder and Deacon. Survivors include: two sons, Roger Marr of San Diego, California and James Marr of Overland Park, Kansas; two daughters, Kristi Brown of Franklin, Tennessee and Lori Gray of Grand Junction, Colorado; one sister, Shirley Beckham of Arlington, Texas; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
