Mrs. Jacqueline Tigges

Jacqueline C. Tigges, 72, of Lenexa KS, passed away peacefully in her home on February 10th surrounded by her family. She was born to Neil and Agnes Peterson on August 14, 1941 in Davy, Nebraska. She spent many years as a Registered Nurse before her retirement. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling and was an avid KU basketball fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken, her brothers Wayne and Jerry, and sister Kay. She is survived by her sister Phyllis, brother Don and four daughters Pat (Glenn) Porzelt, Michelle Kolster, Kathleen (Thomas) Danisi, and Kristin (Don) Macek as well as her eight beloved grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, February 14th from 6-8 pm at DW Newcomer's Sons at 8201 Metcalf in Overland Park and funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross at 8311 West 93rd in Overland Park on Saturday, February 15th at 1:30 pm.
