Helen Robbins

Helen D. Robbins, 78, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Helen was born in East St. Louis, Illinois to Harry and Inez Stewart. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Harry, Vincent, Dorothy and Robert. Helen is survived by her husband, John; son, Jim McCart and his wife, Cindy, 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews and dear friends. Helen was retired from GMAC, was a member of the Heart of America Riding Club. She and John have been very active in the American Legion, Post 370, dedicated to serving those that have served us. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Monday February 11, 2008 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 W. 103rd St., Overland Park, KS 66212. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. with a rosary at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 10 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf. Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, Missouri. Donations may be made in Helen's name to Alzheimer's Association, 3846 W. 75th St., Prairie Village, KS 66208.
