Gloria Peterson
December 18, 1927 — October 30, 2022
Gloria M. Peterson, 94, passed away October 30, 2022. Visitation will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 5th at the Overland Park Funeral Chapel, followed by funeral services at 10:30am. Interment will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Gloria was born on December 18, 1927, in Kansas City, Kansas to John Edward and Georgia (Moore) Peterson and was a lifelong resident of KCK. She spent much of her life caring for her mother and especially loved the time she spent with her nieces: going to movies, going out to eat, and playing games were among the favorite things that they did together. Gloria especially enjoyed old movies.
Survivors include nieces: Joyce Ocamb, Peggy Stein (husband Tony) and Debbie Dusenberry; nephews, John Peterson and David Peterson; 16 great nieces and nephews; and 11 great great nieces and nephews.
Gloria was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
