GLADYS JOY CARNS

Gladys Joy Carns, 95, of Lenexa, KS passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa.  There will be a private graveside service for Gladys.  Gladys was born on August 10, 1925 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Wilbur Harold and Margaret Benson Jackson.  Gladys and Vancel were married on June 20, 1946 in Oberlin, Kansas.  Vance passed away on July 22, 2010.  She worked for many years at Hallmark in Crown Center as a secretary and enjoyed her work there.  Together they did a lot of traveling and went on several cruises.  She and Vancel loved to play Bridge and belonged to a Bridge Club.  Gladys was a very active member of Monticello United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School there.  Gladys leaves behind special friends Barbara and Glenn Briggs. Vivian Triebel and many others.
