Georgia R. Gress, of Overland Park, KS was born on Nov. 16, 1927 and went home to the Lord on February 29, 2016. Visitation Thursday, March 3 at 10:00, services at 10:30 burial to follow at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
Georgia was retired from K-Mart and a member of the Post Office Auxiliary. Georgia was a gifted quilter and loved quilting. She made quilts for many friends and family.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, daughters Linda Corbin and Kathy Luse, daughter-in-law Marcia, Granddaughter Jodi. She is survived by her brother George (Marilyn), Sister Esther, son Joe Gress, Sons-in-law Mickey Corbin, and Dave Luse, 5 grandchildren, 9 Great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
Georgia has requested in lieu of flowers, donations to Lutheran Hour Ministries.
