Her artistic talent included painting and also the creation of cr?che dolls. One of her pieces is a Santa Claus figurine, which is permanently on display at the Kansas City Toy and Miniature Museum. Eva taught craft classes at The Village Church and exhibited her art at The Plaza Art Fair in the 1960s and 1970s. She moved to Aberdeen Village in 2001. She won several awards in the "Art is Ageless" events and was keen bridge player. Also enjoyed bingo but most of all enjoyed being with her friends at Aberdeen Village. Eva was preceded in death by her brother, Charles; her sister, Helen Hitchcock Dorman; and her husband of 54 years, Robert L. Dean, who passed away in 1994.
