DOROTHY PAULINE ROUSSELOT (nee HORNER)
Dorothy Rousselot, born October 15, 1923 in Kansas City, KS, was a lifelong resident of the metro area. Her early years were spent in Kansas City, KS where she attended Argentine High School. She and her family later moved to Shawnee, KS, and for the last forty five years resided in Overland Park.
In Shawnee she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and most recently a very enthusiastic and involved member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Always an active volunteer, she was a den mother for the Cub Scout group in Shawnee and a member of the Mothers Club of Phi Kappa Psi at Kansas University.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rousselot and her sister, Mildred Corriston.
As a proud matriarch of 5 generations, Dorothy leaves behind a son, Richard Rousselot, two grandchildren: Vicki Rousselot and Robert Rousselot; four great-grandchildren: April Grove, Ron Grove, Louis Rousselot, and Tomo Rousselot; one great-great granddaughter, Lily Faith; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
Dorothy touched many lives. Heaven, now, has one feisty angel. "… I am the thoughts inside your head, while I'm still there, I can't be dead."
