David Dean Hoy, 87, of Lenexa, KS passed away June 25, 2015. David was born on April 21, 1928 to Daniel Abraham and Maude Ethel Hoy near Oswego, KS. He was married to Helen I. Young on April 27th, 1951. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was employed by the S.M. Postal Service for 30 years. David is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Jean Bower and sister-in-law, Charlene Hoy. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen; daughter, Judy (Douglas) Johnson; sons, Larry Hoy and Steve (DeAnn) Hoy; brother, Duane Hoy; brother-in-law, Cloyd Bower 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The visitation will be held at Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS, on Monday, June 29th from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with the service following at 10:30 AM.
