Daniel Boone

Daniel E. Boone, Lakeview Village, Lenexa, KS passed away June 26, 2007. Services will be at Village Presbyterian Church, 67th & Mission Road, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2007. Dan married Betty Jones in 1945. He received an Architectural degree from the University of Illinois and served with the Army Engineers in WWII. Dan was president of Neville, Sharp and Simon, Architects, before retiring in 1990. Clients included St. Luke's Hospital and the Mid-America Heart Institute. He was a member of the American Institute of Architects, Overland Park Sertoma Club and the Village Presbyterian Church. He volunteered at Shawnee Mission Medical Center and at the Lakeview Village What-Not-Shop. He leaves his devoted wife, Betty; two sons Jay and Dan and his wife Erna; and two granddaughters, Alyson and Courtney. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lakemary Center, Friends of Jo. Co. Developmental Supports, Kansas Special Olympics, ARCare or Lakeview Village Foundation.
