Clifford Martin Brisbois, Sr. passed away Monday, February 19, 2007 from health complications in Kansas City, MO. He was born on September 1, 1908 in Marshall, MO. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, February 24, with a visitation 10-11:00AM prior to the service at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf. Mr. Brisbois will lie instate from 3:00 PM Thursday until service time on Saturday. Cliff married actress, Cleo Delight Corder on August 31, 1935 in Kansas City, MO. Their only child is Cliff Corder Brisbois, Jr. of Agoura Hills CA. Also survived are two grandchildren; Blake Scott Brisbois of Berkeley, CA and Michelle Renee Brisbois of Baton Rouge, LA. Brisbois? sales accomplishments included grocery store jobs, American greeting cards sales, H.D. Lee sales, Folger?s coffee sales, and then he decided to enter the world of residential real estate. There Brisbois started with Herbert V. Jones and later formed Brisbois? Realtors- where it remained among the leading Kansas City Real Estate firms for over 47 years. Brisbois was one of the first realtors in America to sign up with Eastman Kodak; thus becoming Brisbois? Gallery of Homes, circling Kansas City with five gallery offices. He also helped establish a national real estate re-location service; selling Kansas City to re-locating businesses and families. At this time, Brisbois? Insurance Co. also became a success. Selected pallbearers are Cliff Brisbois, Jr., Blake Brisbois, David Hewitt, George Bergeson, Pamela S. Winters and Silvers Kaufman.
