Caroline M. Fox, age 78, Prairie Village, KS passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 P.M. Friday, June 1, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 3934 Washington St., KCMO, with burial in Forest Hill Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday, May 31, at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Community Hospice, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, KS 66102.
Caroline was born February 25, 1929 in Dodge City, KS.
Our beloved mom was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church for many years and she was a member of the Legion of Mary. Our mom was very proud of her Irish heritage and never missed a St. Patrick?s Day celebration. We will always remember our good times especially the homemade ice skating rink and the many cattle tank swimming pools. She was the best MeMom to her 19 grandchildren. Our Irish eyes are crying, but today her Irish eyes are smiling because she is with our Lord Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
She is preceded in death by husband, Robert E. Fox in 2001.
Caroline is survived by her brother Dan J. Kennaley, Jr. and wife Kitty; she had six children, Anne Marie Adams and husband, Ron of Overland Park, KS, Michelle Kelley and husband, Scott of Utah, Mary Joan Metz, of Overland Park, KS, Marty and wife, Kristin Metz of Lenexa, KS, Eileen Metz of Mission, KS, and Peggy Metz of Kansas City, MO.
