Billie Jean Stair, 82, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on June 20, 2012 of stroke complications.
Billie was born July 12, 1929 in Kansas City, MO. She was a lifetime member of the Kansas City area. Billie loved gardening and spending time with her grandsons. She was a long-time member of Nall Ave. Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two children, Steve (Diane) Stair of Phoenix, AZ, and Cindy Smith of Shawnee, KS, three grandsons, Chris (Tara) Stair of Phoenix, AZ, Adam Smith and Nick Stair of San Diego, CA, and many nieces and nephews. Billie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Donald Stair.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 25th, 11-12:00 PM, with a memorial service to follow at 12:00, at Nall Avenue Baptist Church, 67th & Nall, Prairie Village, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Nall Avenue Baptist Church.
