Beverly Driscoll Adkins, 63, passed away September 8, 2017, with Joe, her devoted husband and love of her life, by her side. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 16th at 10:00 am at Christ Church Anglican, 5500 W. 91st Overland Park, KS 66207 with an inurnment in the Disciple’s Garden at the church will follow.

Bev was born October 3, 1953 to Edwin & Marion Driscoll in Ossining, New York. She grew up in Overland Park graduating from Johnson County Community College School of Nursing R.N. program in 1991. She worked at various care facilities where she provided loving care to her patients, who adored her. Her last years of work were at TEVA, where she was a certified Multiple Sclerosis nurse on the high-risk team.

Bev was a loving wife to Joe, of 40 years. She was adored by her father-in-law, Joseph W. Adkins, mother to Michelle Foley, Joseph W. Adkins III (Sarah), Kelly and Megan Adkins, sister to Suzanne D. Schiffel (Jeffrey) and Pamela D. Ogden, aunt to Jonathan Schiffel and Matthew Schiffel (Kinzi), Ashley Gamon (Daniel) and Grant Ogden, grandmother to Andrew, Joey and Josh Foley, and Paige and Carena Adkins, great aunt to Phillip and Jacob Gamon, and Elizabeth and Katherine Schiffel. Her 4-legged furry family members include Hannah, Jasper and Grace, who brought incredible joy to Bev’s life. She had a quick wit that made people around her laugh. We all miss her dearly. It’s a huge loss for those of us she left, but Heaven has been blessed by a new angel.
