Bettie Marie Beck Denlinger, 85 passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She was born in Iantha, Missouri on December 6, 1927, the daughter of Earl and Gladys Beck.
She attended Wyandott High School and worked for Southwestern Bell where she met her husband William L. Denlinger (Bill). They married in 1954 and he survives her. As they began a family, she became a full time mother and was devoted to her children and later her grandchildren. She is survived by her children William L. Denlinger, II (Dawn) of Littleton, CO, Dennis L. Denlinger (Debra) of Overland Park, KS and Denise M. Calvert (Jeffrey) of San Antonio, TX, also by her younger sister Joyce B. Behrman of Kansas City, KS and 4 grandchildren, Danielle, Derek, Alexandra and William III as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11am on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Johnson County Chapel with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence, Kansas.
