Barbara Beery

Barbara (Long) Beery, 85, passed away November 11, 2016. She was born October 13, 1931.
A visitation will be from 2-4 pm Monday, November 14th at Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66204. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 15th at Overland Park Chapel.
Barbara was a Kansas City native and graduated from Baker University. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and its Alumna organizations, she joined the Young Matrons in 1965, past officer and board member of the Community Children’s Theatre of K.C. for 25 years, the American Association of University Women and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Beery. She is survived by her daughter, Kristin Beery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Baker University or Zeta Tau Sorority.
