B. Maxine Ransom, 93, Lenexa, KS, passed away December 9, 2014, at Lakeview Village in Lenexa. A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm, Monday, December 15 at Lakeview Village Heritage Activity Center, 9100 Park Street, Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 11150 Thompson Ave., Lenexa, KS, 66219.
Maxine was born April 13, 1921, in Warrensburg, MO, to parents Joseph and Pauline (Greer) Riddle. She attended school in Kansas City, MO. Maxine met and married Jack Sutton and made their home in Kansas City for the first five years. The family then moved to Meade, KS, where they had a farming operation for 12 years. Upon their return to this area, Maxine was employed as a secretary for Associated Aviation. She loved playing bridge and dancing.
She was preceded in death by: husbands, Jack Sutton and Bill Ransom; and a special friend and dancing partner, Bob Sabato. She is survived by: daughter, Lana (Jim) Jarsulic; son, Keith Sutton; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Please offer condolences at www.overlandparkchapel.com.
