Arthur Jacobus

Arthur L. Jacobus passed from this life on March 25, 2012 at Garden Terrace Nursing Home. Born May 11, 1911 in Queens, NY, he and his wife moved to Mission, Ks in 1939. An avid golfer, he was a regular at Sunflower Hills well into his nineties. He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Frances. He leaves behind a son, Stephen A. Jacobus of Danville, CA, and a daughter, Nancy J. McCoy of Shawnee, KS. He also leaves behind four grand children, Stephen Bridges and Michael Bridges, both of Kansas City, Heather Bartzen of Anna, TX, and Candace Nafius of Los Angeles, CA, and seven great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their deepest thanks to the staff of Garden Terrace for the amazing care that Art and Fran received while residents there.
