Agatha ?Gray? Priebe Guilfoil

Gray Guilfoil, 87, of Fairway, Kansas passed away peacefully Thursday, July 12 at Somerset Claridge Court.
Born in Savannah, Missouri, she graduated from Duchesne and earned a masters from Yale. During her interesting career she served as an air traffic controller in Anchorage, Alaska and flight attendant with American Airlines before serving as a devoted registered nurse in Kansas City. She had a passion for gardening, but when asked of her greatest achievement, she always said, ?my four daughters?. Known by all for her gentle, caring and sweet nature, she was a member of St. Agnes, Church, where she sang in the choir and volunteered at Bishop Miege. She was preceded in death by her daughter Shawna Froeschl. Gray leaves behind her loving husband Bill, sisters Janet Peters and Ginger Bender, daughters Bridget Fitzwater, Maureen Young, and Eileen Noonan, and thirteen grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Private services will be held at 11:00 a.m. today at the mausoleum at Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Bishop Miege. In Gray?s memory, the family request friends take the opportunity to visit those close to them who are suffering from Alzheimer?s.
