Margaret "Mitzi" Schmidt Walter

October 5, 1934 — March 27, 2018

After eighty three years on the road of life, her engine malfunctioned and she was recalled by her Maker. She began her trip in San Diego, California. Her trip took her through Stanford University where she met her traveling companion Carl. They journeyed together for sixty one years. Along the way they picked up daughters Michele Anne and Lisa Lynne (Bob Canfield II) and grandchildren Bob Canfield, Joe Canfield and Rachel Walter. They traveled extensively over the world, ran into bumps and detours but never quit. It was a first class journey the whole way.

Please join the family in a Celebration of Life (Wake) Saturday, April 28th at The Forum from 3:00-5:00pm.  We will raise a glass for Mitzi and rejoice in a life well lived.

Mitzi loved our beautiful National Parks and would be honored to have a donation made to this wonderful organization.
